The Jaume family in Châteauneuf du Pape has been exercising the craft of wine-making since 1826.
Today, their properties stretch over 145 hectares, with several appellations: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône, Lirac and Vacqueyras. On top of that, the establishment is proud of its top-of-the-range selection of other prestigious appellations from the Rhône Valley, such as Gigondas, Rasteau, Cairanne, Tavel and Ventoux.
Passionate about their profession, Alain and his three children, Hélène, Christophe and Sébastien, today want to help you discover their vineyards in a different manner by integrating wine tourism directly into the Domaine Grand Veneur's activities.
This service, the only one of its kind in Châteauneuf du Pape, comprises two parts: the tour of the vineyard and wine cellars and the wine-tasting meal. The watchwords here are simplicity, quality and conviviality.
The single menu served to our guests is structured around 4 dishes according to two options: "Prestige" with 9 wines and "Discovery" with 6 wines.
All the dishes come from family recipes and highlight local produce, organic when possible.
The wine and food pairing is led by the wine steward Pedro, who will help you discover the different appellations and specificities of the Southern Rhône Valley.
Every Tuesday to Saturday at noon. On Friday evenings in July and August.
Discovery Option with 6 wines: 65€ per person
Prestige Option with 9 wines: 75€ per person
