The Palais du Roure in Avignon

The Palais du Roure, or Hotel de Baroncelli, dates from the 15th century and is one of the most beautiful former town residences in Avignon.

At the beginning of the century it hosted the active club of the Felibrige movement, a revival of Provencal literary culture.

Today it houses a Provencal and archaeological resource center and a museum of popular arts and traditions.
