During 8 months, the emblematic exhibition spaces of Avignon are hosting works by the greatest African artists.

The Popes' Palace, the Museum of the Petit Palais, the Calvet Museum and the Lapidaire Museum offer you a unique tour into the world of the art collector Jean-Paul Blachère.

During your stroll through these historic buildings, you will discover seventy-six sculptures by thirty artists from Africa and the African diaspora, from Ousmane Sow to Wim Botha.
