Life in the village of Gordes, 7 of the most beautiful villages in France are in the department of the Vaucluse, in Provence. Gordes, village sits at nearly 400m altitude on the Monts de Vaucluse, perching on its limestone peak. The village of Gordes deserves, because of its invulnerable air, the name of acropolis-town and is in a choice place amongst the sentinel towns of the Luberon region.
