Crossed by the Via Domitia, the 32-hectare estate is made up of woods, oaks, olive and almond trees, blending in with the 21 hectares of terraced vineyards.
Taken over 10 years ago by Georges Antoun, hotelier (New hotel group) and Patricia Alexandre (former director of Gault & Millau), the estate has been completely restructured and the buildings and 9th-century private chapel renovated.
As well as producing fine, gourmet wines, the Domaine des Peyre is bordered by the oldest road built in France, the Via Domitia, and is home to numerous works of art dotted between olive trees and vines.
It has 5 large flats classified as "gites", as well as reception and seminar rooms for a wide range of events.
In summer, its Jazz'n Wine Festival # Peyre has become a "must" in the Luberon.
It's an unusual and exciting experience to spend a weekend or a holiday at the heart of a wine estate.
It's up to you to choose between the 5 flats, with their charming decor and 4-star comfort.
The infinity pool overlooking the Luberon is reserved for guests of the gîtes.
The young and passionate team at the estate will offer you a real experience.
Open every day from 10.00 to 18.00 in winter and from 10.00 to 19.00 in summer, you can discover and taste all the estate's cuvées, while taking the time to ask questions about how the wines are made and how they are matured, and you can actively discuss your taste experiences.

If you want to go further, you can take part in an ARÔMES WORKSHOP by appointment.
It's a fun and educational way to discover the aromas in wine and then, during a tasting session, find out which aromas are hidden in Domaine des Peyre wines.

The Jazz'n Wine Festival # Peyre takes place on 3 Thursday evenings in July and August. Starting at 7pm, a jazz band sets up alongside ethic' food trucks for a convivial evening of jazz and wine. Atmosphere guaranteed. Reservations recommended. Admission €15/adult, including concert and a glass of wine (or soft drink).
