Chartreuse de Bonpas, historic site 10 minutes from Avignon in Provence
Tastings - Sales of the great wines of the Rhône Valley
|
The Chartreuse de Bonpas is a historic 12th century site. This medieval building has recently undergone a spectacular restoration. |
|
| |
Since opening to the public in summer 2006, our many visitors (more than 600 during the Heritage Days 2007 weekend alone!) have expressed their enthusiasm for this legendary site and the multilingual, interactive audiovisual presentations (French, English, German and Japanese) showing the history of the Chartreuse. |
| |
Our cellar welcomes the traveller for a commentated and personalized wine tasting to finish the visit. Lovers of wine will have the pleasure of discovering and choosing from a wide selection, including the wines of the Chartreuse and those of our other terroirs (Great wines of Burgundy, Beaujolais, Languedoc).
Our facilities enjoy a large accommodation capacity with car and bus parking under video surveillance within the grounds of the Chartreuse de Bonpas. We will be very happy to welcome you and present this exceptional site. |
|
It's a true stroll through time that we invite you on, among the gardens, the chapel, the Great Cellar, the Reading Room,...
The visitor is totally autonomous and free to take the time necessary to discover this enchanting spot.
