In the heart of the Drôme Provençale and near Grignan, this vast country house surrounded by outbuildings dates from the 18th century. It is situated in a magnificent two hectare park where the setting and the surroundings leave space for escape, romanticism and relaxation.
Bordered by a small river and a stream, water has been for a long time a major element in the history of La Moutière. First it was an old place for the unreeling of silkworm cocoons, followed by a pottery workshop then a tannery before becoming a family vacation home.
The property has preserved an important element of its history; it is crossed by a canal with a water wheel. Restoration works have allowed the house to regain all its authenticity and charm of old.
3 bed & breakfast room and 5 gîtes, all spacious and light-filled, have been fitted out since 2009 to welcome you throughout the year and let you discover the Drôme Provençale in all seasons.
For your rest and leisure, the property has a beautiful 16X5m pool, an old tennis court and a nearby children's playground, a ping-pong table, a badminton court, a swing… Bicycles are at your disposal for cycling and discovering the surrounding countryside.
The region has a rich heritage of Art and Culture, and you will discover the thousand facets of Provence with its châteaux, its picturesque villages, its abbeys, its Roman theatres and ruins, it morning and evening markets... and many other wonders.
