Like the other national stud farms in France, the Stud Farm of Uzès also has as its mission helping in the development and professionalization of the equine field. So, it works to support and aid the economic and social development of the equine industry through several public services: management of health risks, improvement and preservation of the genetic inheritance, the development of training, the diffusion of information about the equine industry, expertise for equestrian projects and also the preservation, animation and enhancement of the national stud farms' heritage through sports and cultural events.
So, the Stud Farm of Uzès hosts many events (nearly 60 year) as the site lends itself to all the activities that equitation has to offer (breeding, eventing, horse ball, endurance, performances...). |

Guided tours: the guided tours are led by a specialized guide from the tourist offices and lets you, in summer, enter the world and work of the riding master Lucien Gruss.
Open tours: Open tours are allowed throughout the year, from 8:30 to 12:00 and from 1:30 to 5pm. (except days of guided tours: Tuesdays and Thursdays in summer, and Sundays and holidays).
Performances: in summer many performances are organized in the evening spotlighting horses (dates available from the tourist office) notably those by Lucien GRUSS, a great equestrian artist of international renown, based at the Stud Farm with his horsemen and women. |

We can put at your disposal all of the site's facilities to organize equestrian events (dressage competitions, show jumping, endurance...) or others (performances, gala evenings...).
Equipment rental: hurdles, obstacle course...
A meeting place for breeders: through the organization of many breeding and confirmation competitions.
A conference centre: for companies looking for an original site for their business meetings and training courses.
A headquarters for associations: today, the Comité Régional d'Equitation, the Société Hippique Uzès, as well as other associations have set up their offices at the stud farm.
Harnessing school: The school hosts professionals who wish to perfect themselves in harnessing.
Exterior services: presentation of stallions for servicing, prestigious horse teams with the aim of enhancing an event . |
