Nestling in the heart of the Regional Park of the Alpilles, the Monplaisir Campsite is just a few hundred metres from the town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The site itself stretches over 4 hectares.

In 1974, Gérard Daniel created a farm campsite on the farmland around the family farmhouse. The first pitches were nestled between apple and pear trees.

His sons and grandsons developed the establishment where a calm and family atmosphere reigned.

Today, the main activity is that of a modern and friendly campsite which is constantly improving its site and its services for the greater pleasure of holidaymakers.

Bar, grocery shop with regional products, heated swimming pool, comfortable pitches, quality rental accommodation, air-conditioned sanitary facilities, electric bike hire, are just some of the services offered by Monplaisir.

The grocery store

The shop adjacent to the reception is open from 8am to 8pm every day and offers a wide range of products, morning pastries, fruit and vegetables, cheese by the slice and charcuterie.

Regional products are in the spotlight: organic Camargue rice, Graveson fig jam, lavender honey, local wines, Gardian liquor, etc.

Owners of farmland in Saint-Rémy de Provence, the Daniel family produces its own wine, L'Entre Deux Rocs, which is sold in the shop along with other wines from the Alpilles and the surrounding area.
