You might feel like visiting the historic cities of Avignon, Aix en Provence, Orange and Nîmes, with their monuments and their festivals. Or else, if you feel more like the countryside, there is much to be discovered in the beautiful nearby villages of the Luberon, like Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lourmarin, Gordes, and others less well known but also well worth a tour. And there is always, just around the corner, the market town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with its justly famous antiques dealers. Plus, lots of colourful Provence markets and wine tasting are within easy driving distance. If you are interested in a more active holiday, there are sports opportunities a-plenty. Hiking, biking, horse riding, kayaking and world-class golfing (Golf de Pont Royal) are all available in the near neighbourhood.
