Le Jas du Boeuf nestles on the southern slopes of the Montagne de Lure in the heart of Haute Provence. This tranquil location offers charming accommodation and a peaceful retreat. It is located 3 km from Cruis, a small village classed as a "site of character" in the Pays de Forcalquier area. The beautifully restored 200 year old farmhouse, a former stone sheepfold on 3 hectares of land, has been renovated in a contemporary, pared-down style while retaining original elements such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams. There are three guest rooms in the house either en suite or with a private bathroom. They all have their own entrance and either a private terrace or independent access to the spacious grounds. In addition there are two poolside bungalows built of wood and glass in a highly contemporary style. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all the rooms and there is a simple summer kitchen. Guests are invited to spend time relaxing at the south-facing infinity swimming pool with its stunning views over the surrounding landscape or in one of the many secluded sunny or shady corners of the grounds. |
