Wine domaine in Provence - Wine AOC Côtes du Luberon

Wine Weekend - from 12 to 16 march 2008

Spend a memorable weekend discovering regional wine and food at Domaine Faverot, a delightful 18th Century wine estate in the foothills of the Luberon Mountains in the heart of the southern Rhône.

The five-day weekend combines wine tastings and lectures, delicious meals featuring local produce, trips to nearby wineries, Chateauneuf du Pape and Gigondas, and visits to the famed perched villages of the area, such as Gordes and Roussillon, as well as the renowned market town of Isle sur la Sorgue.

Participants will stay in the charming cottages at the Domaine.

Lectures will focus on the technique of wine tasting, growing grapes and making wine, and will incorporate tastings of wines from the region and question and answer sessions.

Dear Francois and Sally
Just a little email to tell you both how much Dean and I enjoyed our wonderful wine weekend at Domaine Faverot.
We loved everything- the comfortable accommodation, the excellent talks on the various aspects of wine making, the beautifully planned tastings, the visits to the various vineyards including the detailed tour of Domaine Faverot, the delicious Faverot wines and all the yummy meals served with such charm and cheerfulness.  You both were lovely hosts and we truly enjoyed every minute!  Thank you so much for organizing a seamlessly well-run weekend.  We hated to leave!
Fondly,
Dottie and Dean Lundell

Dear Sally and François,
It was our great pleasure meeting you. I really enjoyed the 5 days at your wonderful place. I learned a lot, especially how much work goes into vine growing. Every time we drink wine, we’ll appreciate wine makers effort, sweat and tears much more !
Many thanks again for your warm hospitality for making our Wine Week a very special one !!
