The Chartreuse de Bonpas is also the headquarters for Louis Bernard, wine grower and maker of all the great wines from the AOC of the Rhône Valley.
The first vineyards of the Rhône valley, coming up from the south, otherwise known as the gate of the Côtes du Rhône. Arriving at the Chartreuse, you enter the second zone of appellation d'origine contrôlée of France.
