Orange and its Roman theatre ; Châteauneuf du Pape and Gigondas, famous wine-producing villages ; Mount Ventoux highest mountain in the area ; Vaison la Romaine with its Roman ruins ; Beaumes de Venise (famous sweet white wine !) ; picturesque villages of Sablet and Séguret ; the "Laces" of Montmirail.
