The Public : potential buyers and owners of horses for sale.

The Horses : Horses and ponies from 2 years old on, recreational or sport, pure blood or draught except for studhorses.

Price range fixed by the owner
(*- 2500€, ** 2500€ to 5000€, *** + 5000€).

Included in the Haras' program :
- straw-filled stall at your disposal ;

- drawing up of a personalized description sheet displayed on the stall's door : features, origins and performance ;

- publishing of a small catalogue with each horse's specifications (excerpted from the SIRE) ;

- publication of the list of the horses for sale on the website for the Haras Nationaux one week beforehand. (list also available from the office of the Haras in Uzès, sent off upon request by e-mail or fax) ;

- numbering of the horses permitting them to be easily located in the catalogue ;

- courses with training fences available for testing the horses ;

- riding ring set up for the free jump (or rond d’Havrincourt as soon as it's available) ;

- a negotiation room available at all times.

For an extra fee :
- the Haras (technical center) can provide, upon request, for the preparation of the horses for the sale : grooming, presentation, etc. (at the current rates).

- a specialized veterinarian (Pélissier) can be called upon for a purchase examination and, if neceassry, X-rays (rates posted on site).

- the horses can be housed the following days (up to eight days) at the official boarding rate of the national Haras (17 €/day in 2006), if the owner wishes, for finalizing a sale.
