There are many ways to get here, including the A7 motorway, the TGV rail service to Avignon (now with direct, high-speed rail service from Paris, the UK and Benelux + Germany), and by air to Marseille or Nîmes, both of which are about 1 hour away by automobile.

There are rental cars available at any of these arrival points ; and we would be happy to pick you and your family up at the central transport (rail or bus) centre in Avignon. |

Ideal ! Beautiful! Outstanding ! Very special for families. As we said before, St Rémy de Provence is between the mountains and the sea. There is always something interesting going on. Need we say more ? Just 20kms (13 miles) south of Avignon in the Rhone Valley, we are about 45 minutes by automobile to the closest Mediterranean beaches and about 10 minutes to hiking, biking and spelunking in the Alpilles mountain range. |

Provence is beautiful, unique, intriguing and welcoming. There are points of interest to visit and to experience everywhere ! We recommend the St Rémy de Provence Tourist Office’s website, which has full information about our region. Just click on the series of short panoramic slide shows on the Tourist Office's site, to explore so many areas of special interest to visitors from around the world. |
Then again, you can come to Provence Paradise and literally do nothing... except walk to the town centre to buy a new book or to eat and drink, plus visit the huge provençal marketplace on Wednesdays. The choice is entirely yours. |
