With great satisfaction, we have just finished the complete restoration of an 18th century building constructed on some Roman ruins situated in a corner of our private hamlet at St Remy de Provence.
Our "Bastide des Micocouliers" literally arises out of this somber and solitary building, which served for
hundreds of years as a stable and barn for the animals, as well as a necessary storage area for the traditionally made bricks and roof tiles, but also for the farming that 19 generations of the same Provençal family would subsequently undertake.
