Who would imagine that in pushing open the door of the Chateau d'Estoublon, in Fontvieille, the visitor would find himself in the center of a vast provencal shop, a one of a kind boutique, a theatre of flavours, colours, scents, a harmonious marriage of gourmet products and unusual objects, useful or simply beautiful, carefully chosen furniture, original bedcovers .
Thus, in this provencal shop, the olive oils and wines produced at the estate share the stage with gourmet products from other climes. On the walls of this provencal shop, works by known artists rub shoulders with canvasses by young yet to be discovered painters. Baroque or classical, the objects seem to have been made to live together on the pedestal tables softly lit by stone-embedded lamps.

In creating the boutique of our dreams behind the nostalgia- stamped façade of this 18th century Château, Valérie Reboul has revealed a true talent for decor, an innate gift inspired by the château. The secret of Estoublon is the generosity and balance in the variety, the taste for what's good, the feeling for what's beautiful. And some daring also. |
