Montbrun-les-Bains, classed among the 100 most beautiful villages in France is built right up against a hill facing the Mont Ventoux. From the bend of a steep road in the old town, you will be able to contemplate an exceptional panorama.
The climate is Mediterranean, the site is protected from the strong Mistral wind by the relief of the hills, saved from the summer heat waves thanks to its altitude (600 m).
It is the land of fragrant plants : lavender, of course, but also linden blossoms, thyme, rosemary, savory, sage used in perfumes, sage used in cooking and pharmaceuticals, marjoram, tarragon, oregano.
The Romans had already drawn the sulfated waters from its thermal spa. Its exploitation started again in the 17th century.
