Picasso at CATHEDRALE D'IMAGES, more than 3000 works illuminated… In 2009 our quarries will pay homage to the most extraordinary genius of contemporary painting, Pablo Picasso. This time the directors Gianfranco Iannuzzi and Renato Gatto present a creation that bears the hallmark of the pictorial richness of this extraordinary artist. In 1959, Picasso took part in Jean Cocteau’s “Testament of Orpheus” filmed inside our quarries. 50 years later it is the turn of CATHEDRALE D'IMAGES to pay homage to Pablo Picasso.
Picasso, everyday from February 25th, 2009 till January 3rd, 2010 from 10 am till 6 pm. Closing time at 7 pm from April 1st till September 30th, 2009.
