Nathalie and Jean-François opened, in 2007, the hotel-restaurant L’Atelier in Marsanne, 15km to the east of Montélimar, in the heart of the Drôme Provençale.
The restaurant can serve up to sixty covers on its terrace and in the dining room. For the two, Nathalie has chosen, in a very decorative spirit, to combine industrial and baroque styles: big black and white prints on the walls, inordinately large zinc hangings, antique mirrors, colourful cushions... in back, an immense sofa beckons you for a cocktail or a coffee.
Outside, in the shade of an imposing sycamore, the terrace stretches out along the fountain. Between the tables, white solanums and olive trees spring up from really big "rusty" metal jars.
The hotel counts ten charming rooms. Two are already in service, one of which has a private terrace. Guests can enjoy the flowering garden and the swimming pool for a few laps, hidden from view by the high 17th century walls.
