After admiring and dreaming of this house, of which the loggia overlooks the marketplace of Isle sur la Sorgue, Frédéric and Marie-Claude acquired it in July, 2002.

Located in the heart of the town, between two branches of the Sorgue, this mansion seduced them by the way the rooms are strung together, from the obscure and cool vestibule to the luxuriant garden that appears at the far end, and even the murmur of the old and majestic Sycamore.

Marie-Claude and Frédéric love books and reading, travelling and culinary delights. They have put in each room a large choice of books. Objects brought back from their travels complement the warm and comfortable décor.

As desires and seaons take them, they'll let you disocver, in the big kitchen, their favorite recipes: Leg of lamb with olives and gnocchis, crab and coconut milk curry, risotto with sundried tomatoes . and, in season, tellines, artichokes, asparagus, garden peas, Provencal stuffed vegetables.

Marie-Claude is a native of Isle sur Sorgue. She, better than any, can suggest pretty walks and interesting excursions. Passionate about horses, she will guide you, with Chloé eand Manon, through the Luberon and the Camargue, choosing the best paths.

The boys of the house, Frédéric and Léo, will reserve tennis courts and golf greens for you, but above all, they can take you on fabulous canoe trips down the Sorgue.
