April 24th and 25th : Easter Week end
The custom of Easter eggs arrived in numerous European countries from the twelfth century. Eggs were then decorated and painted. Those in chocolate appear only in the eighteenth.
From 11 am till 6pm : Events
- Great hunting for eggs
- Painting workshop on eggs.

May 14th and 15th : Great Medieval Feast : Fifth Templar Meeting of the Bauceant.
On may 14th at 8pm : Medieval banquet

On may 15th from 10am, opening to the public of the camp and of the medieval market set in the Castle's prk where more than 450 knights from all parts of Europe meet each year.
The day starts with a spectacular parade from the Castle to the camp ... Fights, equestrian games, falconry, jugglers, conferences give a pace to the day.
A large medieval market and taverns as well immerse every visitor in mid 13th Century.

Every Thursday evening, from the 21st of July until the 1st of sptember : noctural guided tour of the castle lit with candles:
Come and discover the Castle, as soon as the night falls, in a completely different atmosphere. Dressed up guides offer you, by candlelight, a unique stroll through the rooms and the underground passages.

Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of September
Join us for a journey through time. More than 40 bit players revive each room of the Castle. The catholic priest celebrates a wedding, the Castle owners and their guests try ballroom dance, cookers prepare the Lord’s meal …

From the 22nd October until the 2nd November : Halloween at the Castle.
Contest for children and adults, of the most beautiful drawing representing the Castle of La Barben…haunted, the most beautiful costume !!!
 Winners will receive their prize through the Post. 

Saturday 29th, and Sunday 30st and Monday 31st October : evening and Halloween tours
New this year : Mary Morgan Witch and other 30 extras will accompany you during night visits to meet famous and terrible people. Dare to face Vlad Dracula, Erzebeth, Bathony.
Numerous workshops, movies, dance floor, catering.
