Prepare your visit
Teacher, your visit will be scheduled during the Visiatome’s open hours (10.00a.m.-6.00 p.m.).The pedagogical workshops take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.The Visiatome adapts to your needs.
A programme will be proposed to you that takes account of your expectations and availability, and our capacity to welcome you (limited to 60 students in order to ensure that your visit takes place in the best possible conditions). This programme may combine a guided visit of the permanent exhibition, pedagogical workshops, and the projection of movies.

Guided visit (length of time advised: 45 min. – 1.30)
With groups of 15 students at the most.
A guide accompanies you for the visit. It can be general or focused on a subject defined in advance. Questionnaires relating to the visits are also proposed. The interactive elements in the exhibition, designed in a playful way, enable the students to have a more independent approach.
Pedagogical workshops (length of time advised: 1.00 – 1.30)The two teaching rooms can each accommodate 15 students. Two workshops can be held at the same time on two different subjects. They are lead by researchers from the CEA or scientific guides.

Projections of movies
A selection is proposed to you and includes : movies that investigate the subjects featured in the exhibition, reports about the industries involved in nuclear affairs, pedagogical documentaries on scientific matters.

To end your visit, we advise you, if you have the time, to stop in at the multimedia library. There, you can consult books focussing on science and pedagogy, or society and economic issues. A selection of scientific journals, gazettes, and reviews for young people is available.
