The Domaine de la Coquillade has beautified itself to seduce lovers of Provence and the Luberon, connoisseurs of wine and those with a passion for big open spaces, nature, peace and quiet and sports, looking for serenity and well-being in an idyllic setting.

Situated on a small hill with an extraordinary view over the Luberon and the Mont Ventoux in the heart of a wine-tourism vineyard, the property actually reveals to you a hamlet of six residences, the oldest dating from the 11th century, converted into sumptuous rooms and suites. It also offers gourmet and theme dining, as well as a wine tasting cellar that will charm your taste buds.

 AURETO Wine Cellar

The cellar has been redefined following new growing methods and with the greatest care given to the vinification and blending in order to produce a new image, of which the AURETO Wine Cellar is the result. The cellar has been built two-thirds below ground, in harmony with the natural setting in a sober and modern style.

 The Estate

Our vineyards cover 32 hectares. We cultivate 24 hectares of grapevines for the AOC Côtes du Ventoux and 8 hectares for the AOC Côtes du Luberon. Our terroir is made up of a clayey-calcareous soil with southeast exposure. The plantings have been reworked and moreover 8 hectares have been replanted with new vines. Our production positions itself on reasoned agriculture so that the terroir puts itself with respect into our wines.

 The Cellar

Our cellar is equipped with a high level technology. Know-how and new technology are combined to bring finesse and consistency to our wines. The pure juice is stored by variety either in stainless steel vats or oak barrels. The diversity of our grapes allows us to create a large selection of blends. The vinification is carried out through the Ganimede process. Thanks to this new technology, the cellar master can control the development of this process and guarantee the consistency and the quality of the vinification. In addition, each step is recorded under the vigilance of qualified collaborators by means of computer software to look after this quality that we demand.
