Activities during your holidays in Provence

Sporting Activities
Lovers of physical effort will be filled in the Luberon, for hiking, many choice: in the Forest of the Cedars of Bonnieux, Colorado Provencal Rustrel or in rocky landscapes and wildlife near Buoux. Many walks are available around Bonnieux direct as you will find dozens more within a few kilometers away. Difficulty levels vary.
In addition, opportunities abound for cyclists on the road or mountain biking. Whether you prefer the bitumen or the sandy paths, the up or down hill (the one usually follows the other!), cycling 80 km crossing a rocky stream bed in mountain biking, there are something for everyone!  Including for the heroes who want to climb Mont Ventoux! Of course, we are plans available.
Golfers will leave their clubs including on the grounds of Grand Avignon, Provence and the Pont Royal Country Club. It is 20 minutes by car to Saumane.
Tennis players will find the Tennis Club of Bonnieux their favorite playground.

Culture
After a stroll through our small village of Bonnieux, with its medieval streets, shops with a warm atmosphere and beautiful galleries, there is still much to discover.
Indeed, other charming villages such as Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (antiques fair and flea market on Sunday), Lacoste (castle ruins of the Marquis de Sade), Roussillon (rocks coloured red & yellow ocher), Gordes (Village des Bories) and Ménerbes (Peter Mayle!) await you in just a few miles away.
A little further back into history and discover the Palais des Papes in Avignon, or stroll the friendly shops in Aix-en-Provence.
By moving away a little more (but still only an hour's journey), the new Marseille, trendy, offers a different program, or Arles and its splendid old museum, just below the Pont du Gard splendor of the Roman architecture and many other wonders yet...

Eating and drinking
Regional markets charming bistros and Michelin-starred establishments, the wineries of the Cotes du Luberon and Cotes du Ventoux, all worth a visit.
