D-day: technical details, etc.
You've decided to go for it- You make an appointment by telephone with the pilot a few days beforehand.
Hot-air ballooning is a gentle aerial sport, that's why we only fly in favourable weather conditions. So, the pilot will call you the day before the flight to confirm and give you the meeting place and time. It is very important to be on time. We start off early in the morning; it's a calm time of the day and the moment with the best lighting.
The gondola holds 4 to 6 people plus the pilot. Don't forget your camera and camcorders.

The Flight Program :
- Meeting up and the drive by jeep to the take-off field (sportswear and good shoes are advised).
- Weather check.
- Inflating of the ballon with your active participation (the aventure begins already!!!)
- The flight lasts from 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes. Count 3 hours for the whole program.
- During the whole flight there is radio contact with the jeep that meets you upon landing.
- After the flight, picking up of the passengers and the material, followed by the enjoyable moment of a snack .
- Return by jeep to the point of departure. |
