Holidays in Provence
The
Prieuré d'Orniols is ideal for your holidays in
provence. It was built in the 16th century on
the foundations of the first convent in Goudargues, built in
the 8th century by the Benedictines. The Prieuré
adjoins the Saint Laurent Chapel, on the
estate of the Château de la Bastide d'Orniols in
Goudargues. 2 springs have
their source at the Bastide, one of which has thermal waters
at 18°C all year-round, which gave it the name "hot
fountain".

The meals are served on the
patio, in the interior of the Priory. A menu
of family recipes with a southern flavour is offered. We get
our beef from a small farmer in Nasbinals in Lozère.
Our pork products came from Saint-Urcize in the Cantal. We
try, as much as is possible, to serve the
fresh vegetables from our garden and to prepare for you home-made
pastries. Please let us know in the morning if you will be
dining with us in the evenning.
