Mus is a village on the top
of a hill, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. It is ideally
situated half-way from Nîmes and Montpellier (Gard and Hérault
area).
The near Camargue rassembles a number of traditions
dealing with horse and bull breeding. The marshes, pastures,
flamingos and endless fine sand beaches are drawing a unique
and authentic landscape.
Go swiming in the Aigues-Morte Bay and have
a walk in the lovely medieval streets of this fortified town.
Within 30 minutes from
La Paillère you will visit two exceptional Roman cities
: Nîmes and Arles. Under clear sky, you will wander through
the streets and enjoy an everlasting architectural heritage.
