A stone's throw from Gordes and Roussillon, the Hamlet of Parrotier overlooks the valley, with the Monts of Vaucluse and the Luberon on the horizon.

I spent my whole childhood in Le Parrotier and this house, open to the four winds, was the refuge for our snacks pilfered from neighbouring cellars. Le Coin Perdu is a family home, a former silk factory, in which the plaster walls in their sorry state were our love manuscripts.

Katia wanted this house to be simple and welcoming, to host those for whom authenticity is a virtue, the culinary corsaires and lovers of all sorts of discoveries.

Our hamlet is surrounded by the scrub land; to the east, the château of Vaumale and to the south, the Verjusclas farm, departure point for many walks and rides.

But life in the Luberon is multifceted : Menerbes, Lacoste, Roussillon, Murs and Lourmarin are here, within sight, just a half hour to the villages farthest away.

A way of life doesn't prove itself, it is experienced and this small Coin Perdu is to be appreciated, it is open to you.
