How to get here :
Arriving in Merindol on the D973 :
Go around the traffic circle and enter the village by the street "Rue des Ecoles".
After about fifty meters, turn left at the junction following the signpost (blue and white "la Bastide Dou Pastre") on the road "Chemin des Rousseaux". Continue for 400 meters on the
main road which brings you to the street "Rue des Vaudois" in front of a dry stone building : the museum (Vaudois memorial). Then follow the indicators by going to the right, then 50 meters later to the left.

Merindol, peaceful and picturesque Provencal village at the foot of the Luberon, is a mecca for the memory of the Vaudois. Declared heretics, the Vaudois were cruelly hunted down and their villages destroyed in the mid-16th century. A memorial has been set up in the ruins of the old chateau.
