A
Medieval stone house full of history, offering up vestiges
dedicated to pleasing the eye. In bygone days monks lived here,
working the wool in the mill, which later became a paper mill,
still functioning 60 years ago.
Bought as a ruin in 1997, this guest house, originally a former
paper mill, had been divided up into 5 parts. Madame Ricard
has restored the oldest part, that of the Old Mill, which dates
from the 15th century. At that time, the mill spinned and washed
the sheeps' wool ; it was then used to make the first wood
pulp for paper. This part of the building also houses a chapel
dating from 1691 which provides the clientele of Blanche Fleur
the possibility to celebrate their marriage, as well as a choice
attraction for history
enthusiasts.
