The appellation COTES DU LUBERON

was awarded by decree in 1988 .
It stretches over the foothills of the Luberon, along the Durance river to the south, along the Calavon to the north.
Grape varieites traditional to the region constitute the vineyards' vines, in this way preserving the true specificity of the Luberon wines.

The General Syndicate of Côtes du Luberon Winemakers is a member of the non-profit organization INTER-RHONE which is composed of professional bodies representing wine producers of the AOC of the Vallée du Rhône and the wine business of the Vallée du Rhône.
