Luxurious and charming hotel in Saint Tropez

 |
Chanel
Once through the vestibule of "La Chanel" with
its beautiful wardrobes, guests will find a plush bedroom featuring bold
pinks and greys and armchairs upholstered in burgundy.
The room has a small balcony overlooking the courtyard and a pretty bathroom
also in pink and grey.

 |
Chinoise
"La Chinoise" is one of Saint
Tropez's wonders! The theme, chosen by Alexandre himself, explains
the choice of colours which reflect 19th century-style Orientalism.
These include duck blue, ochre red, jade green and the florid
décor of the vestibule. The room features reproduction
Chippendale armchairs in dark bamboo and black leather, other
highly polished furniture, a beautiful fireplace in black marble
which complements its extensive mouldings, paintings, heavy curtains
and internal shutters to filter the light.

The atmosphere is very still
and restful, deliberately removed from the hustle and bustle
beyond.
The blue and golden yellow bathroom features big mirrored cupboards which run
its entire length.. |
 |
Hemingway
He's situated at the bottom of the garden,
close to the swimming pool. From here a magnificent floor
extends onto a small private terrace where you can relax
with a drink or enjoy breakfast. Here you will find a soft
colonial atmosphere, the room decorated in subdued tones
and magnificent furnishings. The green and grey tones of
the marble in the bathroom and the design of the furnishings
highlight the exotic style.

Lorjou
La Lorjou, is our Provençal bedroom
and features bright colours, beautiful wrought iron furniture
and beams painted green or blue. Traditional paintings depict
the fruits and plants of the south.
In the comfortable, slightly retro bathroom, a large wall tile
painted by Lorjou explains the choice of name for the room.

 |
Maroc
Overlooking the garden, "La Maroc" is
completely adorned with sumptuous tapestry - with curtains to
match. The tapestry is predominantly green and red, but also
embroidered with gold thread given to Alexandre by Hassan II
for his services as hairdresser to the king's wives. The beams
and wardrobe doors are covered in traditional, Moroccan motifs.
The bathroom is lavishly decorated and features a finely painted
ceiling overhanging the bath supported by four columns.
|
 |
Tarzan
In "La Tarzan", the originality
of the walls - where a multitude of butterflies flutter on a
blue background above the grass green carpet - will take your
breath away.
The bathroom is extravagantly decorated and features furniture
made of thick bamboo and walls along which tigers stretch and monkeys
frolic. The result is original and restful and evokes the innocence
of Kipling.
|
 |
Victor Hugo
Our smallest bedroom, "La Victor Hugo",
owes its name to a collection of the author's works which used
to be housed in this room. Today, guests will find a sumptuous
golden brown and crimson wallpaper portraying flowers and herons.
Slightly sloping, painted beams and unpretentious furniture give
this room a delightfully provincial look.
|
 |
Nioulargue
Located on the ground floor, "La Nioulargue" is
decorated in a more contemporary style. The surroundings are
minimalist and comprise grey sheens and tadelakt. Its private
garden and separate access contribute to the independent nature
of this room for anyone wishing to enjoy a well-deserved siesta
or a private meal.
|
 |
Junior Suite
Sleeping four and with private access, "La
Junior Suite" is ideal for welcoming a whole family in complete
privacy. Wide swathes of exotic wood flooring, a pearl grey sheen
on the walls, a generous bath and shower made of tadelakdt, and
minimalist surroundings are just some of the elements that imbue
this spacious summer suite with an atmosphere of peace and quiet.
|
 |
La Suite
"La Suite" offers a large space
comprising two rooms separated by a large dressing room. One
of the rooms is furnished in the Empire style and has a beautiful
yellow sheen on its walls. The other is decorated with bas reliefs
depicting military scenes and features trophies of war. It is
an exact reproduction of one of the sitting rooms in the Carnavalet
Museum. The woodwork, combined with the "Versailles-style" wooden
floor, gives a light, golden glow to the surroundings. The Spartan
furniture serves as a reference to the Napoleonic campaigns.
The extraordinary bathroom is decorated in multi-coloured marble
and boasts magnificent fixtures and fittings.
The bathroom, with its grey basins, is brightened up with a splash
of invigorating red.
