Chagall Museum

The Marc Chagall National Museum houses the biggest collection of the Russian artist's oeuvre open to the public. Created in association with the artist himself, the museum presents his landmark works inspired by the New Testament. Amongst them, the visitor can admire 12 immense interpretations of stories from the books of Genesis and Exodus,  an extraordinary mosaic of Elijah in his chariot of fire, five amazing paintings - meditations on sexual, sensual and spiritual love  - inspired by the Song of Songs as well as the stained glass in the auditorium.

The museum's garden is a true haven of peace.
