A private castle built by a silk merchant, this exclusive refuge lies hidden away in a 5-hectare park laid out according to original plans, thus offering you peace and discretion, without forgetting the amazing views. During two years, renovation work was carried out on this magnificent château before it opened its doors in June 2018. Let yourself be seduced by the classically elegant ambiance that characterizes the 29 rooms and suites, each one with a view of the park and with all modern comforts.
An authentic French bistro as well as an exclusive gourmet restaurant offer you relaxing moments of gustatory delights. The chef Matthieu Hervé has fine tuned his gastronomic know-how in several of the great restaurants around the world and today, with his “Land and Sea Cuisine”, he focusses on irreproachable quality for his inventive and varied dishes.
In addition to its unique park, the proximity of several airports plus a TGV train station make Château de Montcaud the ideal place for events such as seminars, business meetings, private receptions, etc.

The Bistro de Montcaud shares with you a French art de vivre marked by authenticity. It offers a choice of the great classics of French brasserie cuisine as well as new specialties created each day. Enjoy a cocktail on the terrace in the shade of the plane trees and, as hotel guests and depending on the season, have your breakfast there in the open air.
In our gourmet restaurant, we devoted ourselves to the flavours of the “Land and Sea Cuisine”, fish dishes made with freshly caught fish, seafood and crustaceans. And of course, we also serve refined dishes prepared with quality meats while not forgetting the vegetarian dishes. One of the particularities of the Restaurant de Montcaud is its magnificent inner courtyard, a unique spot where our guests can dine beneath the star-filled sky and end their day in all serenity.
