Wine

The Regional Côtes du Rhône cover about 30 districts of Drôme department and propose you red, rosé and white wines. The types of vintage which are enabled and more used are the Syrah, the Grenache, the Mourvèdre, the Cinsault and the Carignan for the red wines. Wheareas for the white wines, you can find essentially the Marsanne, the Clairette, the Bourboulenc, and the white Grenache. The wines could be fruitly and iced or warden and full structured. While using some types of wines, some lands, which are strictly limited make it possible to produce Côtes du Rhône Village with a low productivity (45hl instead of 52hl) and in specific conditions (altitude, exposition of the vintage, ground characteristics). Wines are then produced are friendly and powerful.
Finally five districts can complete the mention Côtes du Rhône Village using the name of the district because of their particular characteristics linked to the land and production conditions which are most strict, for production of 24 hectolitres and an alcoolic percentage which is more elevated. These are the Cotes du Rhône which are typically named Vinsobres, Rochegude, Saint Maurice, Saint Pantaléon les Vignes, Rousset les Vignes.

The Coteaux du Tricastin (1973), could be found on about 21 districts all around Grignan and Saint Paul Trois Châteaux. You can find 3 colours with red vinetage : syrah, grenache, carignan, cinsault and mourvèdre, and white ones : marsanne, roussane, viognier, grenache blanc and clairette.
The red wines (85%) for some of them could be drunk new and icely, while the others ones with more Syrah vintage, could stay about 10 years and all their fragrances can be, then blossom.
The Rosé (10%) are fruitly and elegant. The whites are dry and refreshing ones and really fine when they are new. They become soft and mellowness after some years.

The wine of the Land of Coteaux de Montélimar is a new label whose production area is located in Montélimar, Marsanne and Dieulefit countys. The productivity realized and authorized is about 80hl /ha.

The local Drôme Southern Land wines, are located above all around Loriol, Montélimar, Marsanne and Dieulefit. The productivity realized and authorized is about 90hl/ha.

The local wines of Grignan County can be produced in the lands all around Loriol, Marsanne, Montélimar, Grignan, Pierrelatte, Saint Paul Trois Châteaux, in 6 districts of Nyons and in the 2 districts of Buis les Baronnies County. The productivity realized and authorized is about 80hl/ha.

The local wines of Buis les Baronnies County and of Nyons except for the districts which were named before for the wines of Grignan,Rémuzat and Séderon counties. The production authorized is about 70hl/ha.
