Christian Christian EtienneEtienne began his apprenticeship in his native region, then went up to Paris where he trained, like many great chefs, at the Ritz.
In 1978, he returned to his home province and opened his first restaurant on the Place Saint-Didier in Avignon. Just a few years revealed his great talent both to locals and travellers. He got his first Michelin star by 1987.
The restaurant moved to its present premises in 1989.


Christian EtienneChristian Etienne is a passionate advocate of Provencal traditions. So, the dishes that he proposes are inspired by regional cooking.

Let yourself be tempted by the menu "Pomme d'Amour" and he will prove to you that provencal cooking can be light and contemporary.

Christian EtienneYour dishes will be accompanied by most appropriate wines. Of course, "Cotes du Rhone" have a place of honor in his cellar, without forgetting "Cotes du Ventoux" or "du Luberon", but it comprises also a first class choice in great french vintages.
