Twenty minutes from Avignon and here you are in Isle sur la Sorgue, our "Comtadine Venice ". Canals surround it and run through it and you will find yourself under the charm of this small town living to the rhythm of the running water, with its immense wooden water wheels stretching along the Sorgue.
Antique and bric-a-brac dealers have ranked it high, after Paris, thus assuring world-wide renown. A lively, colourful town, with its famous market on Sunday, its water festivals, the antiques and paintings.

You can enjoy the famous festivals in Avignon, Carpentras, the Chorégies d'Orange.
You will discover the magnificent landscapes of the Luberon: the Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Oppède, Roussillon and its ochre, Saint Rémy de Provence, Baux de Provence... villages renowned for the beauty of their sites and the typically Provençal atmosphère of their markets.
The Wine Road with its famous vineyards: Châteauneuf du Pape, Côtes du Ventoux, Côtes du Luberon. Avignon: the papal city.
The Pont du Gard aqueduct, Nîmes, Orange, will impassion you with their Roman history.
The lavender fields, the forests of the Mont Ventoux, the hilltop villages, the beaches and marshes of the Camargue will make you say: "Provence, we dream only of returning, and maybe even remaining there !!..."
