Classes, Workshop in Patinas

At her workshop nestling in the Aix countryside, Brigitte de Fabry passes on to you one of her favorite techniques: the patina on wood with an 18th century effect, of which she has explored all the mysteries over several years as a craftswoman.
For the wood, Brigitte uses an acrylic technique with a wax and pigment finish. For walls, there are many possibilities working with oils.

After carrying out many works, Brigitte de Fabry has organized different courses for over two years now in her Aix workshop.

It allows the students to learn the acrylic technique with a wax and pigment finish (Materials provided). |

The students study the oil technique; different techniques are proposed for the different finishes. Working with colours. |

Each student brings two small pieces of furniture or other object and are helped in working the colours and the setting off. (Level 2). |
