The Maison Ardure is surrounded by a garden of one hectare with many trees, in the middle of fields planted with melons, wheat or sunflowers depending on the year.
The closest neighbors are 1 km away, and nothing can be heard but the wind, and, sometimes, a tractor in the fields...
A place to enjoy life and sun. Ready for a swim ? Jump in the outdoor swimming pool (5m x 11m). The liner will be reniewed during winter 2005.

Florence and Michel Ghys are happy to welcome you in the heart of the Gers, in a XVIIth century manor beautifully renovated in 2003. The Midi-Pyrénées region granted the house their special label "Demeure de Caractère".
You can stay in one of our four comfortable guest rooms, all decorated differently according to regional themes like the Armagnac or the sunflowers.
The house has been classified "4 épis" (4 stars) by the national organization "Gites de France". We also have the label "Tourism et Handicap" guaranteeing accessibility to the disabled, mentally impaired and deaf.
Built on a promontory, the house offers panoramic views on the village of Terraube and its castle, and the Pyrénées can sometimes be seen when the weather is clear.
Terraube is 6 kilometers from Lectoure and its thermal center, 18 kilometers from Condom and its Côtes de Gascogne and Armagnac wineyards, you will stay in the heart of the touristic area of the northern Gers.

Space and Light
Our guests can relax in many areas inside and outside the house. Disabled people are welcome: one room has been specially designed to accommodate wheelchairs, and all surroundings of the house are also accessible.
The library offers a selection of touristic guides and books about the region, as well as many paperbacks in French and English.
The sitting room has a beautiful view of the garden and the swimming pool. It is very sunny on winter mornings. You will enjoy sitting on the sun yellow sofas and watch TV and DVDs, play games or read magazines.
Need to warm a baby meal or make a cup of tea? The kitchen is at your disposal during daytime (no cooking, not available for making dinner).
