Bed and Breakfast and Gites in the land of the Black Truffle in Provence

In the heart of the old papal territories, the village of Richerenches is built within the walls of the ancient "Commanderie des Templiers", which was founded by Ugo de Bolbotone round about the 12th century.
When we arrived here, nature had repossessed what had once been hers. A lot of effort, passion, as well as a deep respect for the past have enabled this building to be re-erected, rising again from its ashes...

In a dreamlike location, due to its calm and fabulous surroundings, the Ferme (Farm) de la Commanderie is at the foot of a small hill, in the midst of lavender fields, by the side of the river Lez, the freshness of which is a welcome counterbalance to the sometimes overpowering provencal sun.
