Arriving in Avignon turn around the walls, look for the bridge Daladier, direction Nimes, Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Don't take the Bridge Europe.
In the middle of the bridge Daladier, take on the right, road D228, direction Ile de la Barthelasse.
From the bridge, you drive along the Rhone River, you arrive to a circle, you take the first issue on the right
Then you have panels "Eglise", you follow these ones
Arriving to "Eglise" (Panel LA PASSERELLE), it is the second house on the left panel L'ANASTASY (3 miles from Avignon).

Within a region of less than 30 km, you can visit the Dentelles de Montmirail, take the Wine Road of Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaume de Venise, Chateauneuf du Pape... Climb to the summit of the Mont Ventoux, go to the market in Isle sur la Sorgue, visit Avignon and see its theater festival, drive through the Luberon and see the famous Colorado, Gordes and its Bories (old stone shepherds' huts), go the Baux de Provence, visit St Rémy de Provence...
If you are a sports person, you can bike ride up the Mont Ventoux, golf on a course less than 15 km away, canoe and kayak on rushing waters, discover the region on one of many foot and bike paths or simply go jogging in the fresh morning air. |
