Tourism in the Luberon and in Provence

Ansouis, a beautiful Provencal village of the Luberon, in Provence, with a superb medieval château and church with narrow cobbled streets (it has received "Un des plus beaux villages de France" award). There is a boulangerie, cafe, newsagent and excellent restaurant.
Lourmarin, one of the liveliest villages in the Luberon, in Provence, is 5 minutes away, with its numerous restaurants, bars and the popular Friday market. This beautiful village also has a renaissance chateau where concerts are held throughout the year.
Aix en Provence (25 min.), Avignon (1 hr), the Calanques of Cassis (50 min.) and the Cote d’Azur (2 hrs) are all within easy reach. |
